About Us

An independent
educational project

Lichen Sclerosus Journal was created to address a gap we kept seeing over and over again:people living with lichen sclerosus are given fragments of information — but rarely a complete, practical understanding of what is actually happening in their skin.

Most resources explain what lichen sclerosus is.Very few explain why symptoms persist, fluctuate, or return, or how daily decisions, treatments, barriers, infections, friction, and nervous system factors interact over time

This project exists to change that.
We focus on mechanisms, not myths, and on practical clarity, not fear-based advice.

A value driven research first initiative

Our mission

Our mission is to translate complex dermatologic, immunologic, and barrier science concepts into
clear, usable knowledge for people living with lichen sclerosus.

Our vision

We are building a long-term educational framework that goes beyond articles. Every future product or service will follow the same principle:
Nothing added unless it truly helps. Nothing simplified to the point of being misleading.

Meet a team of passionate professionals

Behind Lichen Sclerosus Journal is not a content farm, a brand play, or an affiliate funnel.

It is a research driven effort built by people who care deeply about: dermatologic barrier functionchronic, inflammatory skin conditions, patient education that respects intelligence.

Our work integrates: clinical literature, patient reported patterns and real world treatment behavior.

We intentionally move slowly, question assumptions, and revise when new evidence emerges.
Because when it comes to chronic conditions,
precision matters more than speed.
